All we know is a MIPS equipped helmet is at least 10% better at handling rotational impact than the non-MIPS verision. That's all MIPS will say. Some helmets are inherently better at dissipating rotational impacts than others, even before the MIPS liner.
Where are Limar helmets made?
Some have mixed Italian and Chinese origin lines like Limar. MET provided us this statement: "Just to clarify as we don't wish there to be any confusion, our helmets are designed, developed, tested and prototyped at our HQ in Talamona, Italy but manufactured in China then quality controlled again at HQ in Italy."
Are EKOI helmets good?
Overall, I was impressed with the Ekoi Legende. It is a high-end helmet with great tech specs, good looks and plenty of choice in terms of design. Ventilation is superb and it's also lightweight. The price is high, but there are others out there that cost more.31 May 2019
Where are helmet manufactured?
Most of the best known helmet brands in the US market are made in China. Major US companies sourcing there have to be very careful about quality control, and buy most of their helmets from a few producers known for consistent quality.
