NHRA - National Hot Rod Association Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2021, the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals at Bristol Dragway, a legendary drag racing facility in Northeast Tennessee, will become a critical playoff race in the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series Countdown to the Championship.
Why is Bristol not on the 2021 NHRA schedule?
Dragway is back on the schedule. The event was canceled for 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and was left off the original 2021 schedule. The Bristol event for 2021 will take place Oct. 15-17 and be added to the NHRA's Countdown to the Championship playoffs, making the playoffs a seven-race affair this year.5 May 2021
