Why is my alarm malfunctioning?

If you don't have an active plan with ADT, it might still try to call out to them once a day.It will alert you if it can't connect.
If this is the case for you, you may have to run to the system every day and press the buttons to cancel it out.
If you have an unmonitored system, you will have to sign up for active monitoring or disabling the alarm system.Adding a monitored system will give you added perks and help you with your repairs.
Constant beeping can occur if someone has tampered with your system.It could be as simple as the cover falling off or being taken off by a child.If this is the case, you will get a faster, continuous beeping.The cover can be put back on to fix this.Once the cover is back on, the beeping will stop.
You may face connection troubles if you hear a fast beeping and the cover isn't off.The display will show that it is having trouble connecting.If this happens to you, you can stop the beeping by entering your security code.
