Write a video game review.

As of 2018, the gaming industry is expected to have a net worth of $137.9 billion.Video game reviews are becoming more popular. If you want to write a video game review of your own, you need to play the game for about 10 hours, take notes on what you like and dislike, and give yourself a chance to make your opinion known.

Step 1: The game is played for 7 to 10 hours.

Video games can take up to 100 hours to complete. Most publications expect a review within a week of the game being released.Try to play the video game for at least 7 hours to get a feel for it.In this time frame, explore as much of the game as you can.Try to level the game up as many times as possible. If the game is an open world, explore as much as you can.

Step 2: Take notes of what you like about the game.

You will be able to translate your notes into what you write in your review.Write down what you like about the game in a notebook or computer.Look for in-game purchases, sound, and graphics.Even if it is small, take down anything that sticks out to you.It is possible for a reader to see the in-game world when they read your review.

Step 3: What can be improved about the game?

Not every game is perfect, and your review should focus on the improvements that you think could be made as well as the positives.Take a look at what you didn't like about the game.Load times are too long or the graphics are clunky. If anything makes you angry, be sure to write it down.

Step 4: The game compares to other games.

You may have played a lot of video games that are similar to the one you are reviewing.Think about games that are similar to the one you are playing. Is it an action game?A horror game?A racing one?Think about which ones you liked better.Would you play this game more or less than other games? You could say, "This racing game has more car model options, but less customization pieces than their last release."

Step 5: Write about 1,000 words in your review.

If you are writing a review for a gaming site, they will most likely want between 800 and 1,000 words.Popular games should be more in-depth and closer to 1,000 words, while independent games can be on the lower end.

Step 6: Start with 2 to 3 words.

It is possible that your readers have heard of the game you are playing.Don't give away too much about the story of the game you are reviewing.Make your readers want to read the rest of your review by opening with a hook.Say something like, "After the success of Injustice, the newest game from the NetherRealm Studios is Mortal Kombat X."Injustice had many flaws, but with this iteration of the series, the problems have been fixed. The best game we have seen in the series is MK X.

Step 7: Discuss the quality of sound and graphics.

Refer back to your notes to find out what you liked and disliked about the game.Tell me about the system you were using and how the game was translated through it.If the game was displayed on a TV or computer, please note if you were wearing headphones or using speakers. The flair with which the executions and bonus moves are performed is one of the best we have ever seen. The blood and gore of MK coupled with the next generation graphics deliver an experience like no other.

Step 8: You can write about the story.

If the video game you are writing about is a series, you can continue old characters or introduce new ones. It's a good idea to talk about the characters that you can play and who you interact with the most.Tell us about the different actions and weapons that the character provides. This game gives you the chance to learn the combo moves of each character and breathes fresh air into the market.

Step 9: Take the time to give your opinion on the game.

You should give your own opinion on the game in your review.Let your readers know if you would recommend the game or not.If you want it to be easy to understand, you can give it a numerical rating.I advise you to pick up a copy of the game.It might be the best fighting game of the year.I rate it 8.8 out of 10.

Step 10: Before you submit your review, read it for any errors.

Take a few minutes to look over your work and make sure there are no errors.Your review will most likely be edited before it is published, but it will be taken more seriously if it does not have many glaring errors. The flow of your words should be checked. If your review needs to be changed, it may be sent back to you by an editor.
