You can change the Adobe Illustrator to CMYK.

Adobe Illustrator files are created in the two primary color formats.Content can be published on the web or printed on paper.If you are sending a document to a printer, make sure it is in the correct format.You can change the default color scheme of Illustrator in order to set a new document to CMYK.

Step 1: You can open Adobe Illustrator.

You can find the Illustrator icon on your desktop or in the search panel at the lower left corner of your screen.The Finder icon can be found in the lower- left corner of your dock.Go to the menu and select applications.Click the Illustrator icon if Illustrator is pinned to your dock.

Step 2: Open a new document.

If you have a Mac, press Control N on your PC.There is a window with an advanced tab.

Step 3: The Advanced tab is where you should click.

You can change the color mode.

Step 4: Select the color mode you want to use.

You can now select the color.

Step 5: Click on the symbol.

This will be the default option.You are ready to confirm the setting.

Step 6: Click OK.

Unless you change the setting later, your documents will default to CMYK.

Step 7: You can open Adobe illustrator.

You can find the Illustrator icon on your desktop or in the Start panel at the lower left corner of your screen.The Finder icon can be found in the lower- left corner of your dock.Go to the menu and select applications.Click the Illustrator icon if Illustrator is pinned to your dock.The File menu is in the upper- left.

Step 8: You can open the file by clicking on it.

You can browse for your file with a window.You can choose your file.Control O can be pressed on a PC or a Mac.

Step 9: Click OK if you want to open your file.

The file menu can be used to convert to CMYK.

Step 10: You can click on the file.

You can hover your mouse over the document color mode.

Step 11: Select the color.

TheSelectionTool is located at the top- left of your tool panel after you're back to the document.

Step 12: There is a selection tool.

You can use this tool to select all document objects..

Step 13: You can click and drag your mouse over the document.

All objects should be blue.

Step 14: The menu has the option to navigate.

You can find the option to change the colors.

Step 15: Your mouse should be hovering over the colors.

You can use Convert to CMYK.

Step 16: You can convert to CYMK.

You can send your file to a printer with the converted file.
