Some parents can be strict when it comes to candy. If your parents don't allow you to have candy, the best thing to do is hide it.It's a good idea to keep your secret candy stashed away in a hiding place. If you have a bad hiding spot, you can get caught and lose your candy. Not every hiding spot will work for everyone, and how long you can keep your secret depends on your hiding skills, as well as your parents'.
Step 1: Your candy should be hidden in layers.
The longer it takes to get to your candy, the harder it will be to find. The sock drawer may not be a good idea. The person needs to open the drawer and see the candy.A better idea is to put it inside your socks.Whoever opens your drawer won't be able to see your candy until they dig through your socks.
Step 2: You should make it hard to get your candy.
The longer it takes to get to your candy, the less likely someone will find it.Under your clothes in a drawer, far under your bed, a box at the top of your shelf are some of the great places.
Step 3: There are different places where to hide your candy.
"Don't put all of your eggs into one basket" is a saying. You might end up with no candy if you hide all of your candy in one spot. You should hide your candy in at least two different places.Don't put your candy too close to each other.Don't hide the rest of your candy in the next drawer if you have some tucked away in your socks.
Step 4: Don't put your candy in warm places.
Next to windows or close to lights are included. If chocolate gets hot, candy will melt.If you can't eat the candy later on, a good hiding place is useless.melted candy can cause a mess and attract attention.
Step 5: The obvious hiding places should not be avoided.
The obvious hiding places are lockers, safes, and piggy banks."KEEP OUT" or "TOP SECRET" are bad choices because they draw attention and curiosity. These boxes are more likely to be passed on to your friends and siblings.
Step 6: It's possible to use what you have at home.
It's not necessary to make a secret cubby to hide your candy. If you have a drawer in your room, you can use it.You can find a few ideas on where to hide candy in this section.
Step 7: Put your candy in a tissue box.
Lift out the entire stack of tissues after finding a tissue box.Place your candy in a thin layer along the bottom of the stack of tissues. The first tissue should be removed to make it look like the tissues are being used.
Step 8: You can try hiding your candy inside your pillowcase.
You have to take the candy out before you sleep because this only works for a short time. The side that is touching the mattress should be the bottom of the pillow case. The candy will make a lump if you put it in the top.
Step 9: Put candy in your clothes.
You can hide the candy in a shirt that you don't use.You can put the shirt back in the drawer. It's a good idea to use a shirt that you don't wear often. If it is summer, hide your candy in a sweater. You can hide the candy in one of your summer shirts.A pair of socks is a great hiding spot.Coat pockets are great hiding places.
Step 10: There is a small box on your bookshelf.
Push the box against the wall. This will keep the box out of sight.
Step 11: Candy can be hid inside magazine folders.
You should use the folders that you are currently using. The folders should look like they are only used for magazines.
Step 12: It's a good idea to Camouflage the candy.
Both toys and candy are bright colors. If you have a bin where you keep lots of small, plastic toys, you can hide some brightly colored candy in the bottom of that bin.The bright colors of your toys will help camouflage the candy.
Step 13: You should throw the wrappers away.
If you have a trashcan in your home, don't throw the wrappers away.People will suspect that you are hiding candy in your room if they see candy wrappers in the trashcan. If you want to hide the candy, throw it away at school.
Step 14: Don't say anything.
Someone may look for candy if you brag about hiding it.It's a good idea to keep your candy secret from your siblings. They may tell you if they get mad at you. They might accidentally give your secret away.
Step 15: Act like you know what you are doing.
If someone is close to one of your hiding spots, don't get nervous. If someone opens the drawer where you hid your candy, do not scream "Don't open that!""Don't look in there!"If you tell the other person that you are hiding something, they will be suspicious and look through your drawer.
Step 16: Don't draw attention to your candy.
People look where other people are looking. The other person may get curious if someone is with you in your room and you keep looking at your stuff. They may try to find your candy wherever you are.
Step 17: Don't hide your candy in places other people frequent.
If someone does your laundry for you, don't keep your candy out of sight.A bookshelf that both you and a sibling use is an example.
Step 18: Put your hiding places in a different order.
Someone will find it sooner or later if something is in one place for a long time.If you plan on hiding candy in your room, you should change the hiding places at least once a week.If you have a lot of people in your room, you might want to change the hiding places.
Step 19: Pick a box that will fit on your bookshelf.
A shoe box is too big, but cardboard boxes with snacks and bars would be perfect. You can use a wooden box instead.
Step 20: There is a picture online of book spines.
It might be a good idea to use books that you might find on your shelf, since you can choose any types of books you want.A set of leather-bound books might look out of place if you have a lot of new books. You can stack some of your books together.
Step 21: Make them the same width as your box with an image editor.
Write that number down when you measure your box.You can use an image-editing program to open up your picture. The width of the canvas should match the number you wrote down.
Step 22: Print the image.
Try to get a good print.Old printer paper can be used for this.
Step 23: Attach the paper to the sheet of cardboard.
An old cereal box would work well for this.Place a thin layer of glue on the cardboard. It is possible to paint the glue on with a paintbrush. The paper will get soggy if you use too much glue.Put glue on the cardboard side of the cereal box if you cut out the front or back first. From now on, the image size will be on the back.
Step 24: The picture should be on top of the glue.
To smooth it out, use your fingers or the edge of a ruler.Wait for the glue to dry before moving on.
Step 25: The spines should be removed.
The background of the picture you printed out will be white. You don't want a background for this project. You can cut your image out of the cardboard with a pair of scissors.Follow the top edges of the spine. You can use a craft knife if you are careful. To cut away from yourself, be sure to work on top of a cutting mat.
Step 26: Place the cardboard on the side of the box.
Put a thin layer of glue on the side of the box.Place the cutout on top of the glue.Make sure that the bottom and side edges of your cutout match up with your box.
Step 27: Put candy between two books on your bookshelf.
This cubby is a great place to keep your secret candy and hold bigger candy.
