Jordan almonds are candy coated.The coating of the Jordan almond is a complete candy husk that forms around the almond, unlike the candied almonds that are only coated with sugar.Jordan almonds have been used as wedding favors for a long time.It's a lot of work to make Jordan almonds at home, and they may not be as elegant as the commercially produced ones.

Step 7: If you want to prevent the syrup from running over the sides, place it on a marble slab with candy bar edges.
The depth of the syrup should not be greater than 1 1/2 inches.
Step 8: Allow for it to happen.
It needs to be cool to handle.
Step 9: The cooled fondant can be creamed with a wooden spoon or butter paddle.
Use the implement and your fingers to move it back and forth.
Step 10: All of the fondant should be kneaded.
The aim is for it to be white.It should be smooth.
Step 11: Cure the coating.
After the fondant is smooth and white, place a clean cloth or tea towel over it.Sit under the cloth for an hour.The minimum time it can remain is 1 hour.
Step 12: After the hour has passed, Knead again.
Step 13: Place the wax paper on the plate or baking sheet.
This will be the resting place for the almonds.If you make a lot of almonds, you'll need more than one plate or baking sheet.
Step 14: In a saucepan, melt the fondant.
Step 15: One by one, dip the blanched almonds.
Pick them up with a fork.As you bring up each almond, gently tap against the side of the pan to wipe off any excess fondant.
Step 16: Place the almond on the wax paper.
Leave for 5 minutes, then apply a coat of paint on the other side.
Step 17: Done.
