If your homepage got changed, you may want to know how to get it back.You may be able to make your startup page as well as your home page.You need to know what to do when choosing between them.
Step 1: The menu icon is on the chrome browser.
Drop-down menu will appear when you do so.The menu icon has three horizontal lines.You can find it in the upper right corner of the browser screen.
Step 2: You can choose settings from the drop-down list.
The settings page will open in a new tab after you click on this option.The settings page will open in the current tab if you choose this option with a blank page.
Step 3: The box is next to the button.
This option can be found under the "Appearance" section.The "Home" icon will appear to the left of the address bar if you click on this box.
Step 4: If necessary, click on the Change link next to the home page.
If you want, you can set Google as your homepage.The "Change" option is displayed to the right of the current URL if it is not.The Home Page dialog box will pop up when you do this.There is no need for further action if you already have Google set as your homepage.
Step 5: Go to this page.
The second open is available to you.The first option is to use a blank page as your home page.
Step 6: You can type in the URL.
Click on the box next to open the page.
Step 7: Go to the OK button.
You can save your settings and close the dialog box by doing that.No action needs to be taken from this page when you are returned to the settings page.

Step 9: From the drop-down list, choose settings.

Step 10: Check to see if the page is open.
This option can be found under the "On startup" section."Open the New Tab page" and "continue where I left off" are examples of other startup options.
Step 11: You can click on the set pages link.
The "open a specific page or set of pages" option can be found to the right of this option.Clicking on this link will open a dialog box.
Step 12: You have to enter the URL.
You can add a new page by typing the URL in the text box.The website for the search engine is: https://www.google.com/
Step 13: Go to the OK button.
You can save your startup page setting by clicking on this button.No further action is required when you return to the settings page.
Step 14: You can click on the menu icon.
Clicking on the icon will produce a drop-down menu with a variety of options.The menu icon has three horizontal lines.You can find it in the upper right corner of your browser.Make sure the start page is open.If you go through the process in your browser, you will be able to use this method.
Step 15: From the drop-down list, choose settings.
The settings page will open in a new tab.Do not close the tab.
Step 16: Check to see if a page is open.

Step 18: Click on the button to use the current pages.
A list of all currently opened pages will appear inside the "Startup pages" dialog box when you do this.The name and URL of the website will be shown in the list.
Step 19: You should remove any pages you don't want.
If you have other pages or tabs open, they will show up on the list and you must deselect them.Next to the webpage you want to remove, hover your mouse over the far right of the dialog box.The "x" should appear.To remove the page, click on the X.Continue removing pages until all of them are gone.
Step 20: Go to the OK button.
If you save your startup settings, you will be able to close the "Startup pages" dialog box.You will be taken to the settings page.There is no need for further action at this point.
