Step 14: Your employment information can be entered.

Step 27: Make sure you have all the information you need.
Your driver's license, deposit figure, and Social Security number are included.
Step 28: Go to US Bank's website.
You can click the link to do so.
Step 29: Click on the "Checking and Savings" tab.
A drop-down menu will be displayed if you select this at the top of your screen.
Step 30: Click the check option.
This should be at the top of the menu.
Step 31: Click to apply online.
Underneath the "Checking Accounts" section of the page, you'll find this option.
Step 32: You can choose a checking account.

If you do that, you will be directed to an application for that account.
Step 34: The "continue" button is at the bottom of the page.
Click "Get Started" if you're setting up a Premium, Student, or Easy Checking account.If you have a US Bank account or promo code, you need to fill out these fields.Click "Joint" or "Individual" to select the status of your account on the following page.
Step 35: You have to fill out your account information.
Depending on your account type, you will need to enter some or all of the following information: Full name and suffix Primary address Whether or not the US is your country of permanent residence/citizenship The length of time for which you've lived at your current address Primary and secondary phone numbers
Step 36: When you're done, click "continue".
From here, you'll need to review and submit your application, add your startup deposit to your account, and select account features such as your preferred credit settings.Your US Bank account will be active once you've completed these steps.
