The PSX is a beloved platform that shaped many a 90's kid's childhood.If you want to relive the memories of huddling with your friends and siblings while playing the first of the Resident Evil franchise, you can use the power of emulators developed to run on Android.It's possible to have years of gaming memories in the palm of your hands by combining the flexibility of Android and the powerful software available to you on the Google Play Store.In a few easy steps, you can get a dose of nostalgia, or just play around with some of the gaming industry's earliest but greatest titles.
Step 1: Go to the site.
You can go to a site that hosts digital copies of old games, such as Emuparadise.me or Theisozone.com, by typing it on the address bar and using the on-screen keyboard.
Step 2: There is a game to be searched for.
The search bar should be at the top of the page.To summon your on-screen keyboard, tap on it and type in the name of the game you want to download.
Step 3: You can choose the game from the results.
You need to find the right one to download if the search yields multiple results.To find the game title that matches your system, scroll down the page.The system should be stated below the game title.You should go to the file download page after tapping the game title.
Step 4: You can download the ISO.
The download button can be found in the description page.Do not be alarmed if the link takes you to a site similar to FileHippo, or something similar, as some sites will use hosting services for the files.You can skip the ad after a few seconds if you tap on the "Skip Ad" button at the top of the screen.If you tap the "Download Now" button on the download page, a notification will appear in the status bar of your device.The download will be finished once the progress bar reaches 100%.The ISO files should be in the Downloads folder in your device's internal memory.Depending on the game, the ISO files can vary in size.Games with more intense graphics and 3D models should be larger.The files can be as large as 500MB in size.
Step 5: The emulator can be launched.
There are PSX themes in the icon for PS X emulators, such as the original PS in top view.To launch the application, tap the icon for your emulator.If you don't have an emulator, you can download one from the internet.There are several to choose from, like e PSXe.
Step 6: Listen to and download audio and video.
After launching the app, a pop-up may say that you have to download the plugins first.The pop-up has a button at the lower right corner.When the progress bar reaches 100/100, the download should finish.
Step 7: The game needs to be loaded.
The user interface and format of the Emulators vary.The app will allow you to pick the folder where it will take the ISO files.A refresh button is located at the top right corner of some emulators.You can choose the ISO file of the game you downloaded by tapping on it.
Step 8: The TV can be plugged into the Chromecast.
You can find an HDMI port by looking behind your TV.Attach the Chromecast to the HDMI port and note the port number.
Step 9: The device can be powered by the power of the Chromecast.
If you want to connect your Chromecast to your TV, you need to take the supplied power cord and put it into the rear of the device.If your TV does not have ausb port, you can use the supplied Chromecast power adapter to plug the power into the wall outlet.
Step 10: The output should be to the right source.
Press the button on the remote control if you want to power the TV on.The arrow button on the remote can be used to navigate to the HDMI port.The TV should show the output of the device.
Step 11: You can launch the app on your device.
It looks like a blue outline of a TV screen with a wi-fi icon in the lower left corner when you open the Chromecast app.
Step 12: You can search for your device.
The cast screen option can be found in the left panel.You will be able to find the Chromecast when you open the screencast menu.
Step 13: You can cast your screen.
If your device is on the same wireless network as yours, you'll get a pop-up that says you can connect to it.The TV should show your device's screen.
Step 14: The emulator should be launched.
There are PSX themes in the icon for PS X emulators, such as the original PS in top view.To launch the application, tap the icon for your emulator.You don't need to cancel casting the screen on your TV.The video feed from your device to the TV should not interfere with the app launching process.
Step 15: The necessary software is available for download.

Step 16: Load the game.

To enable it as an input app, you have to tap the button in the pop-up that will appear.You can change the language and input settings on your device by going to the Language & Input settings menu.You can get back to the Sixaxis app by pressing the Back button after you tap "OK" in the notification pop-up.
Step 19: The tool can be launched on a computer.
Click the download link in the page that corresponds to the operating system of the computer you are using if you head to Dancing Pixel Studios.After you have downloaded the software, click on the icon in the desktop to launch it.The tool is free to use.
Step 20: The PS3 controller needs to be plugged into a computer port.
The values after "Current Master:" in the application window will display a series of characters that look like this, where the "x's" can be any letter or number.This is the address of the device with the controller.
Step 21: You can pair the PS3 controller with your device.
The SixaxisPairTool can be used to change the master of the controller.On your device, look at the bottom left corner of the screen.You can type the values into the text field in the middle of the SixaxisPairTool on your PC.This will change the address in the window.That means that the controller is compatible with your device.
Step 22: The controller needs to be removed from the cable.
The controller should have a single light on.You should now be able to use the controller as an input method in playing your PSX emulator if you tap the "Change I ME" button on the Android app.
