Islam is the fastest-growing religion in the world with almost two billion members.Islam is unique among the world's religions in that it requires only a simple declaration of faith to become a Muslim.devoting oneself to a life guided by Islamic principles is the most important act you will ever make.Accepting Islam wipes all sins before it.As a new convert, your record is clean; it's similar to a rebirth. One should strive to keep this record clean and do as many good deed as possible.Killing is a major sin in most religions and Islam doesn't advocate it.Extreme practices are not advised. All Muslims are required to follow Islam's dress code, which places an emphasis on modesty.
Step 1: It's important to know what it means to be a Muslim and how to act like one.
The first rule of being a Muslim is to believe in one and only Allah. The Almighty and Allah are the only beings. He is the only one you should be doing good for and the one who will be worshiped. There should be no standing in his place. There will never be a prophet after Muhammad, the last one who came down to Earth.Islam sees itself as the natural way of creation.Islam is the perfect state of being. When a person converts to Islam, they are reverting to their original nature.Regardless of where she or he lived, Islam considers anyone who follows its teachings to be a Muslim.Islam believes that Jesus was a Muslim, even though he lived hundreds of years before the founding of Islam. The Arabic word for God is Allah, and it refers to the same God worshiped by Christians and Jews.Muslims revere the prophets of Christianity and Judaism, including Jesus. The Bible and Torah are unreliable because they are modified over time.God's final scriptures, the Qur'an, affirm the truth in the previous scriptures and rectifies any corruptions.Don't associate yourself with any sect in Islam. We are commanded to be united by Allah and His Prophet.Muslims should obey Allah and avoid innovation in religious matters.Don't do an action if the Allah or the Prophet did not do it.Those who have divided their religion and become sects are not associated with them.Their affair is left to Allah and he will tell them what they used to do.The Prophet said, "Beware!"The people of the Book will be split into three groups, the majority of which will go to Hell and the other two to Paradise.
Step 2: You can read Islamic scriptures.
The Quran is believed to be the word of God and the culmination of all previous Christian and Jewish scriptures. The accounts of Muhammad are one of the most important religious scriptures.Much of Islamic law is based on hieth collections. The stories, laws, and teachings that make up Islamic belief can be found in these writings.
Step 3: You can talk with an Islamic leader.
Islamic religious scholars conduct religious services inside and outside the mosque. The Imams are chosen based on their good character and knowledge of Islamic scripture. If you decide to devote yourself to Islam, a good Imam will be able to give you advice.
Step 4: Say the name Shahada.
If you are certain that you accept the basic beliefs of Islam and want to fully submit to the will of Allah, all you need to do is recite the Shahada, a short oral declaration of faith. You are committed to following Islam for the rest of your life if you have said the Shahada. The Shahada says that there is no other god but Allah and that Muhammad is the only one.Say the Shahada and you will become a Muslim. The first part of the Shahada refers to worldly things which can take the place of Allah in your heart, such as wealth and power. The Shahada acknowledges that Muhammad is Allah's final messenger.Muslims are required to follow the example of Muhammad, who revealed his principles in the Quran. The Shahada needs to be said with care and understanding. It's not possible to become a Muslim just by pronouncing the words, as the oral recitation is a reflection of belief in the heart. You should not lie, steal, or kill.Follow Allah's commands in order to be worshiped. You are committing to follow the rules of Islam.
Step 5: If you want to become a legal member of the Muslim community, you must have witnesses present.
God knows all things, so a Shahada said alone, with conviction, will make you a Muslim in God's eyes.To become legally recognized by the Muslim mosque, you need to make your Shahada in front of two Muslims or an Islamic religious leader who is authorized to certify your new faith.
Step 6: Don't wash yourselves.
Immediately after becoming a Muslim, you should take a shower or bath. This act signifies the washing away of the past and the emergence of light. No one's sins are too grave to prevent newfound purity.Your past sins are forgiven when you make your Shahada. You start a new life by trying to improve your spiritual state through good deed. After becoming a Muslim, males should submit to circumcision as soon as possible. This is an act of love for Allah and is considered important for cleaning. You can get this procedure done at a nearby clinic if you go to the local mosque.
Step 7: You can offer prayer to God.
The easiest way to learn how to pray as a Muslim is to attend a mosque. The five daily prayers are mandatory for all mature Muslims, so be aware that prayer should be relaxing and enjoyable. When praying, take your time.Rushing the prayer will hurt you in the long run.It is a direct spiritual connection between you and the being who keeps your heart beating and who created the universe. It should bring joy and peace.Over time, this will improve.Don't be excessive or ostentatious with your prayer.Establish a habit and make it enjoyable is your initial goal.Your focus should improve to a level where nothing can distract you.You should structure your day around the five daily prayers.Muslims seek help from Allah by leaving plenty of time for dua after performing the prayers. As these bring great rewards, try to adopt the habit of praying all the optional prayers as well.Ask Allah for good judgement and success in life.Keep two points in mind. You have to perform the duties that Allah requires of you.You have to do what is necessary to achieve success. You have to have faith in Allah.Allah is eternal, even if you are successful or not. When you have a quiet moment, please pray for forgiveness.Say why you are wrong, promise not to repeat them, and ask Allah for mercy. No matter how small it may seem to us, every sin should be acknowledged. If we ask sincerely, we can be hopeful of forgiveness, otherwise each sin will count against us on the Day of Judgement, and may even lead to punishment in this world.Allah commands us to pray for our own benefit, so we should embrace the gift of salah, because Allah is self-sufficient and does not actually need our worship.
Step 8: The Islamic obligations to be performed areFard.
Muslims are required to fulfill certain obligations."Fard" is what these obligations are called. There are two types of Fard.If a Muslim is able to, he or she must pray daily and fast during the holy month of Ramadan.Community obligations such as Fard al-Kifaya are things that the community as a whole must do.Some Muslims in the community have to come together to say funeral prayers if a Muslim dies.It isn't required for every Muslim to say the prayers. The whole community is at fault if no one says funeral prayers.Sunnah, lifestyle guidelines based on the life of Muhammad, is mandated by Islamic belief. Some acts are recommended. If the described action is required, the narration will let you know.As a Muslim, try to adopt new Sunnan in your life, for example adding more voluntary prayers to your daily routine and reciting some of the recommended daily duas in the morning and evening.
Step 9: Observe Muslim behavior.
Muslims are required to live their lives in a certain way.You will keep the following habits as a Muslim.Muslims do not consume pork, carrion, or alcohol.Meat must be slaughtered by an authorized Muslim."Bismillah" means "In the Name of God" in Arabic. If you are left-handed, eat and drink with your right hand.If your right hand is not usable, you can use your left hand.Proper hygiene is practiced.Don't have non-essential interaction with the opposite gender.Sex outside the bounds of marriage is not allowed.During the menstrual cycle, married women must not have sex.The Islamic dress code places a lot of emphasis on modesty.
Step 10: The five pillars of Islam are understood and embody.
Islam's Five Pillars are supposed to be taken by Muslims. They are the core of Islamic life. When you become a Muslim, you make this happen by declaring that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad.Prayers are said five times in the direction of Mecca. The holy month of Ramadan is marked by prayer and charity.Muslims have a responsibility to help the less fortunate.The888-607-888-607-3166 is required for those who are able to travel to Mecca at least once.
Step 11: You must believe in the six articles of Faith.
Humans can't see the divine order of Allah, but Muslims have faith in it.The only being worthy of worship for Muslims is God, according to the six articles of faith. The unquestioning servants of God are angels. The Quran is the perfect will of God, as revealed to Muhammad by the angel Gabriel, they were given from Allah, but some or more of the content has already been changed.Jesus, Abraham, and others were sent by God to preach. All life will eventually be raised for judgement by God.Nothing happens without God's will or pre-knowledge.
Step 12: You should always keep the Qur'an at the center of your life.
You can learn a lot from the translations of the Qur'an.Some of the translations may be difficult to understand. If you're having difficulty understanding the old English of the other translations, give Sahih International a try.Rather than relying on your own ability to interpret the Qur'an, it's better to seek guidance from people who are trained in the study. Many mosques have "New Muslim" brothers' and sisters' study circles that are a good place to start learning more about Islam. It's important to be careful, but relaxed, about finding someone you feel comfortable with and who you are convinced has enough knowledge in order to teach well. Many Muslims devote a lot of time to memorize the Qu'ran. Some of your favourite surahs should be learned when your Arabic improves. It is possible to recite these during prayer or whenever you need a lift. For example, you can research and study authentic hadith of the Prophet Muhammad.Pick out some of your favourite ahadith. You can browse the collections at Sunnah.com.
Step 13: Choose a school and study Islamic Law.
There are four schools of thought in Sunni Islam.Pick the school that appeals to you the most.Subscribing to a school will let you know your interpretation of Islamic law as revealed in the Quran and Sunnah. All schools are valid. The legal system is a gift from Allah to ensure a safe and fair society, even though some aspects of the Shariah may seem very strict at first. It is your duty to use it as motivation to live a good life.Hanafi is the officially recognized school. The Hanafi School has the most information in English and is widely practiced. It goes from the secular Turks to the ultra-Orthodox.The majority of Hanafis live in India, Turkey, Eastern Iran, and parts of Egypt. The Shafi'i school is the second most populous school in the world and the majority in Egypt and East Africa, as well as Yemen, Malaysia and Indonesia. There is a person named Maliki. The majority of the school's students are in North and North West Africa, as well as in Saudi Arabia. One of the famous Maliki scholars is the one who took his practices from the people of Madinah. There is a person named Hanbali. The Hanbali school is mostly practiced in Saudi Arabia and has some followers in the West. The Hanbalis place a lot of emphasis on creed and ritual practice. It is not necessary to follow any of the aforementioned schools of thought.Minor interpretations of how to perform certain actions, such as prayer, did not exist during the time of the Prophet.Islam warns against dividing the religion into sects, so don't worry if someone else follows a different school. You won't go astray if you follow the Qur'an and Sunnah.
Step 14: If you want to improve yourself in the service of Allah, strive to do so.
If you want to be the best person you can be, you have to serve Allah and seek His reward.Muslims believe that Allah created them to be happy and have a good life. You can use your talents to help others. You should be open-minded.Do not harm anyone.Explain to people that Islam is a religion of peace.Muslims are required to pay attention to Allah throughout the day.Beautiful phrases include Subhana l-lahi wa bi-hamdihi (how perfect Allah is and I praise Him), La ilaha illallah (there is none worthy of worship except Allah), and Alhamdulillah (All praise is due to Allah). The hope of Allah's mercy for our sins and fear of His punishment is balanced by the outlook of every Muslim.Islam advocates that its believers follow the "Golden Rule."You will not go wrong if you follow the advice of Prophet Muhammad.
