How do I remove my credit card information from the Amazon store card?
I used it once to buy a $20 book, I have had it for over a year.I don't see myself buying anything else from Amazon even though I have 7 other credit cards, and my oldest account is a citi card.Does having a store card affect my score??

One store card for a mix of credit will give you a boost.I wouldn't close it until it passes 24 months of being considered mature by Fico.
They have been the only one to never give me a cli, I've never requested one either, but still $500 is more than enough for Amazon.
You can get something for the purchases you do make if you get a Sallie Mae card. Then close it.Once I have it, the Amazon card will probably go away.It might be useful for me since I'm looking at a Macbook Pro and $600 isn't enough.
I keep my Amazon Store card for the financing deals because I use it as a utilization buffer.Another reason is that it's one of my older cards.

It's not like you have 17 cards. One of your older cards will keep getting older, which is great for cards.
People say that closed accounts will report 10 years.I think it would be a good idea to let Amazon close it themselves. You've got 15 years of positive tradeline instead of 10, AAoA.
Click the request CLI button if you want to log in to your Amazon card account. It gives nice increases. If you pressed that button every four months since the beginning of the year, you would have a $4000 limit on that card by now.
If you have that kind of history, you could call the Synchrony bank underwriter and ask for $10000.
