How do you remove the drawer from the laundry machine?
A washing machine pedestal base makes it easier to access the door. When they need to be taken off, they are easy to put on with simple tools. The washer can be quite heavy to move around, so two people will make the task much easier.
Plug the cord from the wall and tape it to the side of the appliance, which will be facing upward after it is laid down.It protects it from being stepped on or damaged as you move around the washer.
To lay the washer on its side, clear out the space around it.To protect the finish of the appliance, place cardboard or a blanket on the floor. The drawer should be removed from the pedestal.
Slowly lower the appliance onto the floor.Water may come out when the washer is on its side.Use the towels to clean up spills.
Feet go into each pedestal. The feet must be attached to the bottom of the washer when the pedestal is removed. Most feet have a screw through them.
The hardware on the bottom of the washer needs to be removed. These can either be bolts or screws. They are found on the four sides of the appliance. The models use the same holes at each corner where the feet would normally be attached.
The feet should be connected to the washer bottom. The washer should be tipped back to its upright position. If the washer is going to be used in this condition, place the bubble level on the top and level the appliance by adjusting the feet in or out.
