Changing the password of your social media accounts is always a good idea.If you want to change your password for security reasons or if you have forgotten it, it's easy to do.
Step 1: You can launch Facebook.
You can find it on your home page or app drawer.
Step 2: Go to your account.
You will be asked to log in if you haven't done so in a while.Go to the fields provided and enter your email and password.
Step 3: Go to the account settings.
The More tab is at the top right of theheader.The tab has three horizontal lines.Go to the menu and select the account settings.
Step 4: The general settings menu can be opened.
The first option on the account settings page is General.
Step 5: Change your password.
On the new screen, you can enter your password on the top field.The new password can be entered in the second and third fields.To change the password of your Facebook account, tap "Change password" when you're done.
Step 6: You can visit Facebook.
Go to the home page of Facebook with any web browser you have installed on your phone.
Step 7: Go to your account.
tap "Log in" to continue if you enter your login information on the fields provided.You can access Facebook from your browser on your phone.It will look similar to the Facebook app.
Step 8: You can go to account settings.

Step 9: The general settings menu is open.

Step 10: You should change your password.
Go to the new screen and enter your password on the top field.The new password can be entered in the second and third fields.The new password of your Facebook account will be saved when you tap "Change password"

On the new screen, tap "Forgotten password?" at the bottom.The next screen will ask if you want to email or text a code to reset the password.You can choose your option by tapping on it.If you clicked on the link, you opened the email.To reset the password, follow the instructions on the screen.If you chose to be sent a code, you will receive a text message to your mobile phone.After selecting your option, copy the code into the box on the screen.You can reset your password by pressing the "continue" button.
Step 15: Change your password.
After you reset your password, you will be asked to create a new one.In the first box, enter the new password, and in the second box confirm it.You can save your new password by clicking "continue".After you submit the code, you will be asked to create a new password.In the first box, enter the new password, and in the second box confirm it.You can save your new password by clicking "continue".
Step 16: Go to Facebook.
You can find it on your home page or app drawer.
Step 17: Do you need help?
The screen is at the bottom.There is a pop-up menu with two options.The Help Center.
Step 18: Do you need a new password?
If the account on the screen is yours, your browser will open and ask you to confirm it.
Step 19: Your password needs to be reset.
On the next screen, you will be asked how you would like to reset your password, either by email or text.You can choose your option by tapping it.You can open the email and click on the link if you chose to do so.To reset the password, follow the instructions on the screen.If you chose to be sent a code, you will receive a text message to your mobile phone.After selecting your option, copy the code into the box on the screen.To reset your password, tap "continue".
