Curled hair is a great look for a night out or special event, but it can be time consuming to do with a curling iron or rollers. You can get wavy hair by braiding. The best way to create waves is for people with naturally wavy or curly hair.Make sure you braid hair that has not been washed.A loose side braid will give you relaxed hair.If you have straight hair, try tight braids.Maintaining your hair will make it look polished and pretty.
Step 1: You should wash your hair.
You should wash your hair as usual. If you have thick hair, use a conditioner and cleanser.
Step 2: It is a good idea to dry your hair.
Use a blow dryer to dry your hair.Make sure your hair feels damp but not wet, as this will help your braided hair set. When your hair is 80% dry, braid it.You can spray dry hair with a spray bottle.
Step 3: You need to brush your hair.
Make sure you don't have tangles in your hair.If your hair is still damp, use a brush or comb.
Step 4: If you have thick or coarse hair, apply hair oil.
Before you braid your hair, make sure to apply hair oil to the ends.Take a dime-sized amount of hair oil and run it through your hair.If you have straight or fine hair, do not do this.
Step 5: If you have wavy or straight hair, apply setting to it.
You can squeeze a small amount into your hand.Start at the middle of your hair and work your way down to the ends.
Step 6: Have a few hair ties on hand.
You will need a hair tie for the braid. You will need 2 hair ties.If you want hair ties that won't pull on your hair, wrap them in fabric or thread.
Step 7: Use your fingers to make a deep side part.
To split your hair, use your fingers to one side. You can gather up your hair by moving your fingers from the front to the back. You can let them fall if you have bangs.
Step 8: Pull your hair over your shoulder.
Pull your hair over one of your shoulders to keep it from falling on your face.Instead of using a brush or comb, use your fingers.
Step 9: You should separate your hair into 3 separate sections.
Take the left and right strands of hair and put them over each other.
Step 10: The center piece should be looped through the left and right sections.
Pull the center section through the middle of the left and right pieces.Place it over either the right or left section.
Step 11: It's braided.
Continue braiding your hair. The side braid should be loose if you hold your hair firmly.
Step 12: The braid needs to be secured with a hair tie.
Wrap a hair tie on the end of your hair to keep it in place after you have braided it.If you have fine hair, use a ribbon. If you have hair ties, they can cause dents in your hair.
Step 13: The braid needs to be left in overnight.
You can sleep with your hair in the braid.Try sleeping on the other side of the braid so it doesn't get messed up.If you want to keep the braid in place, you can wear a shower cap or wrap your hair in a scarf.
Step 14: The braid needs to be removed in the morning.
Take off the hair tie when the braid has been in your hair for at least 6 hours. If you have loose waves on the ends of your hair, it will give you a relaxed, curled hairstyle.
Step 15: You have to separate your hair down the middle.
Take your fingers and separate your hair. One on either side of your face is what you should have.If it is easier for you, you can use the pointed end of a comb to separate your hair.
Step 16: There are two sections on one side of your head.
Pull the top layer of your hair from one of the sections.
Step 17: There are 2 pieces of hair.
Hold the hair in one hand and twist it in the other. In the opposite direction of the twist, loop them over each other. As you twist them, pull them tight to your head.
Step 18: Take the two pieces and twist them together.
Keep the 2 pieces in place with one hand.Take 1 to 2 inches of hair from your hand and put it in one of the pieces.loop the 2 pieces over each otherIf you want to get all of your hair in the braid, you need to grab hair from the back of the head.
Step 19: Continue twisting your hair until you reach the base of your neck.
Add more hair to the braid.Continue until you have twisted your hair all the way down to your neck.
Step 20: Pull the hair into a bun.
If you reach the base of your neck, you won't be able to twist your hair anymore.Curl the rest of your hair by twisting it into a bun.You don't want the bun to come undone at night.
Step 21: Attach with a hair tie.
Wrap the hair tie around the bun 1-2 times to secure it, once you have twisted the rest of your hair into a tight bun.People with fine hair are more likely to have dents in their hair if they wearcrunchies.
Step 22: The steps are the same for both sections of hair.
Take the top layers of your hair and twist them together.Until you reach the base of your neck, do this. Then, put the remaining hair in a bun.The bun needs to be secured with a hair tie.
Step 23: The braids should be kept in overnight.
It's best to sleep with your hair in tight braids. You can keep your braids from falling out by wearing a scarf around your hair or a shower cap.
Step 24: The braids need to be taken out in the morning.
Carefully remove the hair ties. Then, untangle your braids. You don't want the curls to be pulled out if you tug on them too hard.If you want to avoid ruining the braids, you can shake out your hair.Curls should be all over your head.
Step 25: Curl your hair with hair spray or curling cream.
Curls can be kept in place with a few sprays of hair spray or a small amount of curling cream.Curl your hair lightly with your hands. If you want to add volume to your hair, flip it over.
Step 26: You don't want to brush or touch your hair.
You can ruin your hair by brushing it.If you touch your hair too much throughout the day you can make it look flat or oily.
Step 27: You should wash your hair to get rid of the curls.
If you have dry hair, washing it out in the shower or bath is a good idea.If your hair gets dry, you can use a conditioner.
