How To Hide Messages on Android

You can learn how to hide text messages on your phone.You can either archive messages in the Messages app or install an app with a password-protected mailbox feature.

Step 1: On your phone, open the Messages app.

You can download it for free from the Play Store if you don't already have it installed.Messages allows you to archive conversations so that you can hide them from the home screen.

Step 2: Hold the conversation while you tap it.

There are icons at the top of the screen.

Step 3: The folder can be tapped with a downward-pointing arrow.

It is the first icon in the row.The conversation is now in the archive.To view the messages, tap at the top-right corner of the screen.To move an old conversation back to the Messages home screen, tap and hold the message in the list, then tap the folder with an upward-pointing arrow.

Step 4: Go SMS Pro can be installed on your phone.

From the Play Store, you can get it for free.

Step 5: It's possible to open GO SMS Pro.

The icon has green and orange chat bubbles inside.You can usually find it in the app drawer or on the home screen.

Step 6: Go SMS permission can be granted by following the on-screen instructions.

You will find your messages in the inbox once you finish.Go to the next step if you have already been using GO for messaging.

Step 7: If you want to hide the message, tap and hold it.

There is a menu at the bottom of the screen.

Step 8: There's more to tap.

It is at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Step 9: Move to a private box.

If you use this feature for the first time, you will see a tip window to help you through the setup process.

Step 10: Take a moment and tap INITIALIZE.

Step 11: You have to enter and confirm a password.

You have to use this password to access private messages.You can move messages to the private folder once the password is accepted.

Step 12: Go to the back button.

You can come back to your message list.

Step 13: To hide the message, tap and hold it.

There is a list of icons at the bottom of the screen.

Step 14: You can tap More.

Step 15: You can move to a private box.

There will be a confirmation message.

Step 16: To confirm, tap CONFIRM.

The private folder contains the message.
