Using a desktop internet browser, you can learn how to send a private message to the private subreddit's moderators and ask to join.
Step 1: You can open it in your browser.
Go to your browser's address bar and type www.reddit.com.
Step 2: You must sign in to your account.
In the upper-right corner of your screen, enter your usernames and passwords and click the button.
Step 3: Next to your usernames, click the envelope icon.
The white envelope icon in the upper-right corner of your screen will open your messages page.
Step 4: You can send a private message.
There is a button next to the tab in the upper left corner of the screen.There will be a new private message.
Step 5: In the "to" field, type the name of the private subreddit.
If you enter the name here, your message will be sent to all of the moderators.If you don't know the name of the subreddit, open it in your browser and check the end of its URL link.If the URL is www.reddit.com/r/privatesub1, you should enter into the "to" field.
Step 6: The subject field contains a relevant subject line.
The subject line should be short and to the point.
Step 7: If you want to join the private subreddit, write a message.
In the "message" field, politely explain why you want to join the private subreddit, and request an invite from the moderators.There is no guarantee that your join request will be approved.Most private subreddits only accept new members if they meet certain criteria.
Step 8: You can click the send button.
Your message will be sent to all of the moderators.
Step 9: You can check your inbox for a reply.
You should give the moderators some time to read your message and check your inbox for a reply.You will receive an invite link if your request is approved.
