Sometimes you can't make it through the day at school.Maybe you can't stay in math class because you're sad about a family situation. It is not a good idea to skip school often, but it is helpful to know how to do it once in a while.
Step 1: Tell your friends that your neck is hurting.
This is a sign that a head ache is on the way.If you don't want your friends to know that you're faking sick in order to leave early, you will want to start early.
Step 2: Rub your temples.
Let your friends and teachers know that your head is bothering you.You might want to include a squint.Sensitivity to light is a common symptom of a migraines.
Step 3: Tone it down.
If you're excited about something, keep your voice and actions low.You don't want to make it clear that you're faking a headaches by acting like it.
Step 4: If your head hurts, tell your teacher and ask to go to the nurse.
You should look pathetic while you tell them this. They may want to tell you to stay if you don't look good.Speak quietly and respectfully, and continue rubbing your temples. You could say, for example, that you have a weird pain on one side of your head and you feel dizzy when you see bright light.
Step 5: Tell the nurse your symptoms.
Tell her that you have a throbbing head that is getting worse. It involves sensitivity to light and sound. You can tell her that you feel sick, as it's often a side effect of a migraines.
Step 6: Tell your friends that you are not feeling well.
Suggest the cause of your illness. You could say, "I think I have a stomach bug that's going around, and I don't think my breakfast agreed with me today."
Step 7: Ask your teacher to use the bathroom.
It is urgent, but be very respectful. It is a good idea to go to class in the middle of the class. There won't be any need to fake throwing up in the bathroom.
Step 8: You can tell your teacher that you don't feel well by coming back to class.
Tell them that it would be a good idea to go to the nurse. You might throw up in class if you don't go to the nurse, so make it clear that it's in their best interest to send you. There is no need for it to be graphic. If I don't leave now, I'm going to throw all my books over.
Step 9: Tell the nurse your stomach hurts.
Tell her that you have been sick in the bathroom before. You should try to look pathetic. You might want to tell her that you have a stomach virus or that there is some food that doesn't agree with you. It's important to stick to a consistent story. When you see the nurse, don't change to food poison if you think you have a virus.
Step 10: Throw in a few other symptoms as well.
If you have a stomach virus, you may also have other pains. The nurse could easily disprove any symptoms that were described. You could say that you have pain in your joints. You could say that you have been very tired all day.You could also say you have a throbbing head.
Step 11: A note can be written.
The method requires you to fake a note from your parents saying you need to go to the doctor. If you don't like forging a note and signature, consider a different method. The note should start with the phrase "please excuse my name" and explain where you are going. This method doesn't work because the signature at the bottom is free of spelling and grammatical errors and is a tiny bit crumpled as if it's been in your backpack. The jig will go up if you have someone pick you up.Depending on the school you attend, the consequences for turning in a forged note may be severe. In extreme cases, some schools will even expel you.Is it worth the risk?If you need to leave school early, it is possible that your parents or guardians will write a note for you, so ask them first.
Step 12: As soon as possible, turn the note in.
If you give the note to someone right away, it will look more believable.Follow the policies of your school. You can either give the note to your homeroom teacher or the principal's office.
Step 13: You should keep your story straight.
Don't say you have an eye appointment this afternoon if your note says you're leaving early to go to the orthodontist. You are less likely to be caught if you stick with minimal details.
Step 14: Let's leave.
When you get to the point where your note says you have to leave, raise your hand and remind your teacher.Pack your bags and leave. The more you can fly under the radar, the better. As possible, act casual. If you make a big fuss out of leaving, people will suspect that you are lying.
Step 15: Decide who you will ask for help from.
If the parent or guardian is sympathetic to your problem, they are a good option. You may need the help of a sibling or friend.
Step 16: Think about why you should leave early.
If you have a convincing case, anyone would feel sympathetic towards you.Think carefully about who you want to help you, and make sure you can convince them that you need to leave school.
Step 17: The person can be asked for help.
Tell me why you need to leave early.Tell them how you need them to help if they agree that skipping school is a good idea.If it is a parent or guardian, all they have to do is write a note and answer the phone. They will have to be prepared to lie for you if it is an older sibling or friend. It is possible to make your story believable by having someone come to school to pick you up at the scheduled time.Tell them what they can do to help you.If it's your older sister, and you're skipping school to help her pick out a wedding dress, remind her how excited she'll be to have you there. If it's your dad, and you're skipping school because of a bad break-up, tell him how much better you will feel after a "personal day."
Step 18: You should state your case assertively.
If you don't make a clear case for why you feel unwell, your teacher, nurse, or school administrator might not believe you.If you are faking sick, the key is to tell them what you need to go home.Don't confuse assertive with aggressive.Don't be hostile or angry, but be clear about what you need. When talking to your teacher, you may want to say something like, "I'm feeling really bad and think I may need to leave."When you see the nurse, make your case with specific symptoms.I have vomited once already and am feeling nauseous.I had a cold all day.I would like to go home.
Step 19: Don't let them go in their tracks.
If there is an obvious reason why you might want to skip school that day, you should mention it to your teacher, nurse, or administrator.Say something like, "I feel awful about missing my group presentation this afternoon" if you are talking to your teacher. If you are trying to convince the nurse to let you go home, try saying, "I know what my teacher's make up test policy is."
Step 20: You should be prepared to expand the lie.
If you have turned in a fake note, there is a chance that an administrator will want to call home to verify that you really do need to leave early.Make sure your parent or guardian is prepared to keep the lie going when they answer the phone if they really did write the note.Give a number you know no one will answer if you faked the note.If your parents are working, you could give them your home number. The message should be deleted before they hear it.You should have someone ready to answer the phone at any number you give them.An older sibling is a good option.
Step 21: Accept the consequences with grace.
If you are caught lying, the best thing you can do is accept the blame. If you admit that you were wrong, adults are more likely to give you a pass.Explain politely why you did it, and say that you know it was wrong.
