Have faith in yourself.You might feel like your life won't get any better, but know that you live in a time where you can be helped.You can become who you are supposed to be.There are many people who went through the same thing you are going through.You are not weird.There are many people who are happy and healthy.Try to remember that this isn't going to be your reality forever when you're having a hard time.Don't worry, just hang in there.Things will change for the better as time goes on.Remember to look out for yourself.If you feel you need help dealing with emotions, ask for help.Don't be afraid to ask for help.Many people are supportive and caring in this world.Talk to a trusted adult about your feelings about dysphoria.Talking to someone will help you deal with your emotions.You can get inspired by reading stories of people who have survived difficult situations in life, such as illness, injury, war, poverty, abuse, criminal background, addiction, or natural disasters.There are people who have lost everything they've ever had, become refugees or lost their home in a fire or flood, and others who were born poor but were able to improve their circumstances.People whose lives were changed by an illness or injury, but who still thrive and succeed in life.Many successful people say that you need to hit rock bottom in order to change your life into something better.You don't need to compare your suffering to other people, but you can be inspired by seeing how people overcome odds.It is possible to see hope that you can survive whatever you are going through at the moment.
Step 2: Speak what you feel.

Step 5: You can talk to a friend.
If you know someone that you can trust to listen to you and understand what you are going through, it can help a lot.It can be a relief to be able to speak freely.It's important that you feel listened to and understood.There are online forums for trans people.Video chatting, email, and social media can be used to talk to people like you.There are people in the same situation that you are in.You might be surprised by how many people are looking for someone to talk to about their experience with dysphoria.Many other trans people feel the same way you do.You can check out local resources.Many places have trans or LGBT groups.It will make you feel less alien if you join a group.New friends that understand you can be made this way.It's possible to talk to your family or friends.Peer support from other trans people can be different as they are also struggling with the same issues and know how you feel.cis gender people are just as supportive.Talk to a therapist that specializes in the experience of trans people.If you feel safe contacting your religious group, you can contact a priest.It is possible to talk freely about any problems you might have without taking their feelings into account, if you talk to an outsider or professional.

Step 7: There is a distance between the situation and your reaction.
You can't always control everything that happens around you and you will inevitably find yourself in situations that can cause you to feel anxious or depressed because of your gender.Your reaction to the situation is what you can always control.You can decide if you let this event ruin your day or not.You can't control what other people say or think of you, but you can control your response.You don't have to let them ruin your day.Don't give your well-being to other people.You have the power over yourself, your emotions, and your happiness.If you can manage your day well, you will feel better about yourself.If you have to channel your negative energy into something, ground yourself until you calm down.Try to find an outlet for your emotions.If you want to let your feelings take over, take many deep breaths and close your eyes.Try to see the situation in a different way.Do you think the other people meant that?Do you think the situation is worse than it is?You are prone to overreact if you are self-conscious about your body.Sometimes your anxiety can take over and you expect people to see stuff they aren't supposed to be seeing or to look at you in a way that makes you uncomfortable, but in reality they may be oblivious to all that and actually see you as the gender you are trying to present as.
Step 8: It's a good idea to avoid the triggering.
You have the right to avoid people who make you feel bad or put you down.You don't need to deal with this.You don't need to put up with behavior that makes you feel unwell if you affect your reaction.Reducing your time with family members who don't respect your identity can be difficult.It is always your own well-being that comes first.If you don't feel like it today, you have the right to stay inside.It is possible to make a difference between being anxious and dysphoric.Don't let your social anxiety stop you from seeing your friends or attending a support group.If you know that swimming with your classmates or exercising with other people is making you feel worse, don't do it.You may need to endure deadnaming, misgendering or feeling dysphoric in order to function in life even if that makes you feel bad.You have the right to avoid those types of situations.Being deadnamed at a bank is different to being dead named by your mother.People should be given a chance.Many cis people don't know how gender dysphoria affects their life.Explain to them how different things make you feel.Being called Susan makes me feel depressed and I don't want to go to social gatherings anymore.Jake is what makes me feel comfortable around people.I'm asking you to call Jake after this so that I don't get confused anymore.If people are still ignoring your requests after that, the best thing to do is reduce contact to a level you can handle without having a great effect on your mood.If your friends and family are unsupportive, instead of isolating yourself, contact new people and attend support groups.There are other people who will support you when you have bad luck with your family.It's important to reach out if you don't have the support you need.In the worst case scenario, getting no support can affect your progress.When you are improving your life, find people who support you.People like that do exist.
Step 9: There are items that aid in presentation for trans people.
Prosthetics and binders are used for sex for guys.Breast forms, panty girdles, padded underwear and tucks are available for women.It can help you with dysphoria if you wear these items in public.These can be expensive but a good investment as they can affect your appearance.People will donate stuff they don't need anymore for free if you buy second-hand.
Step 10: Make clothes work for you.
It's a good idea to know what looks good on your body type.Short shirts accentuate your hips.There are a lot of good tips online.Clothes forcis bodies are made at stores.The waist, hips, and height are some of the problem areas.If you want to fit in men's pants on the hip section, you'll need to go up in sizes because of the genetics.Consider tailored clothes.They are made to look good on you.You can always make your own clothes if you can't afford it, or get help from family and friends who know how to sew.You can use shoe lifts for guys and padded underwear for women.Think about what parts of your body you want to hide and what to accentuate.Different materials, patterns, and shapes can make a huge difference.In good and bad, jackets that accentuate shoulders can make them appear wider.Paying attention to the cuts and lengths of clothes can make a difference in your appearance, even if you don't have to change your style.It's important to find clothes that fit you well and compliment your best features.Normal tips on choosing clothes might not work for you.It's good that you buy clothes that look good on cis people.
Step 11: Your voice should sound more masculine or feminine.
People find it a nuisance when they pass it up to the point they open their mouth.It is possible to train your voice with practice, even pre-hormones.There are a lot of online videos that can help you with this.The voice pattern you have can affect your passing positively, and the actual pitch isn't the most important thing.Changing the way you speak can seem hard, but once you master it, it can have a huge effect on your self-esteem.You can start practicing at home.Singing and reading can help.While reading and acting out the scenes, try to sound more masculine or feminine.You can use a voice pitch analyzer app.It can take a while to master this skill.Testosterone lowers your voice to a male range.Even if you are pre-HRT, this practice is helpful because estrogen for trans women won't do the same.
Step 12: Receive feedback from others.
Track your progress and changes on HRT with lots of selfies.Play with face gender change apps when you share these with others.You are usually your worst critic.You can see flaws on your face and body that others don't know about.You can get honest advice from your family and friends.Ask people who are honest if they put you down.Take all that in if you are being praised.Enjoy the fact that others can see you in a different way.You should try to be less hard on yourself.Taking selfies that you look masculine or feminine can boost your self-esteem.Ignore the pictures you don't like and enjoy the ones you do like.Whenever you are feeling down, take a look at these.They'll make you happy.
Step 13: Acknowledge what you can and can't do.
HRT can change the appearance of your face and body.Some people have immediate dramatic changes, others will have the same changes later on.Everyone is their own person in that regard.The changes will come to you.You just need to be patient.It can last up to 5 years.You don't have control over your height, bone size, hand and feet, and some bone structures in the face if you start HRT after going through your first biological puberty.FFS is a possibility, but only if you accept your body as it is.There is no need to worry about things you can't change.It's best to ignore that and focus on the things you can change.There are both tall and short cisgender men and large and small-framed women.Don't worry about trying to fit the average.If you were born with short hair, remind yourself that you could have been taller.No one has control over body shape.Being trans is not worse than any other medical condition.People can lose their legs in accidents or be born without them.Most people have at least one type of medical issue during their lives.Being trans isn't the end of the world.There's treatment for it.Even if you can't have that treatment, you still have the right to live authentically as your true self.Everyone is different in shape and size.Everyone has their own way of expressing themselves.Also, etc.Don't let your uniqueness get in the way of embracing it.It is up to you to define who you are.
