You can use a PayPal account to send or receive money from banks, or to pay directly for online transactions.You can use a bank account, debit card, or credit card as a source of funds when you first sign up for a PayPal account.If you don't use a credit card at first, you can always link it to your account later.Enter your card information when you log into your PayPal account.The process works for both the mobile app and the website.
Step 1: Go to the app store and open it.
You can find the free app in the App Store or the Play Store.To download and install the app, press the "Install" button.Don't download the app titled "PayPal Here"Retailers can use that app to take payments using the services of PayPal.
Step 2: The settings icon can be tapped.
There are a number of different account settings on this menu.
Step 3: You can tap on the banks and cards.
You can find the button at the top of the menu.
Step 4: You can add a new card.
Go to the top right corner.
Step 5: From the popup menu, choose "Debit or credit card"
The form will take you to.
Step 6: You can enter your credit card information.
You can add your credit card number, expiration date and security code.If you want to take a picture, you can use your phone camera.
Step 7: To take a photo of your card, tap the camera icon next to the number field.
This will bring up your phone's camera and allow you to take a photo of the card instead of entering information manually.
Step 8: Place the box on the screen with your credit card.
The app takes a picture for you.Press Done to stop.Once the card is properly aligned, the app will automatically take a photo.The credit card number is the only thing that will be scanned.After tapping "Done", the security code must still be manually added.
Step 9: You can select a billing address.
If you already have one, choose a billing address from the list.If you want to add a new billing address, you need to select the existing one and then tap "+" to enter it.
Step 10: Press the "Link Card" when all the correct information is entered.
Once the card information is verified, it will appear in the "Banks and Cards" menu.
Step 11: You should review your cards.
If you want to remove a card, open the "Banks and Cards" menu, select the card from the list, and then tap the pencil icon to edit or remove it.Multiple cards can be linked to your account.You can choose from the different payment methods you have on file when you make a payment with PayPal.
Step 12: Go to your account.
Press "Log in" to enter your email and password.If you don't have an account, you can go to the homepage.Enter an email address and password for your new account after you sign up.Within a few minutes, you'll receive a confirmation email.Click "Activate My Account" in the confirmation email to complete your account creation.You will be able to log in.
Step 13: TheWallet button is in the top menu bar.
You will be directed to a page with all of your payment methods.
Step 14: Press the card.
There is a button under the credit and debit cards.You will be directed to a form to input card information.
Step 15: Your card information will be entered.
Select Credit from the type of cards you want to use and enter your card number, expiration date, and number on the back of the card.You will have to enter your card's billing address if you don't already have one listed on your account.If you have an address on file, the area will be auto-populated.You can add a new billing address by selecting the address from the drop down menu.
Step 16: Press the Save button when all information is added.
Wait for the confirmation of your card information.The process may take up to 30 seconds.Once your credit card is confirmed, it will be listed on the wallet page and ready to use in transactions.The last four digits are displayed.
Step 17: You can review your cards in your wallet.
Once you link a credit card to your account, you can change or remove the link by selecting the card and clicking on the "Edit" or " Remove" button.Multiple cards can be linked to your account.You can choose from the different payment methods you have on file when you make a payment with PayPal.
