You can learn how to send articles, pictures, videos, and other items that your friends have posted on Facebook to your timeline, another friend, a page, or the Messenger app.
Step 1: Go to Facebook.
You can go to Facebook in your browser.If you are logging in, this will open your News Feed.Before proceeding, you need to enter your email address and password.
Step 2: You should find the post you want to share.
You should find the post you want to share in your News Feed.You can find the post on the profile of the person who shared it.
Step 3: You need to share the post.
Some posts can't be shared.If the person who created the post has their privacy settings set to "Friends" or " Friends of Friends", you won't be able to share their post.If you see a button below the post, you can share it.The sharing options you have will still be influenced by the creator's security settings.
Step 4: You can click share.
It is below the post.Doing so leads to a drop-down menu.
Step 5: You can select a sharing option.
You won't see all of these options in the drop-down menu, but you can click one of them.You can add text in the "New Post" window when you open the post.You can specify a friend or group of friends to whom you want to send the post from the Messenger window.You can specify a friend's location in the "New Post" window.You can share the post on one of the pages you manage by opening a "New Post" window.
Step 6: You can add text to your post.
In the "New Post" window, you can enter a message or tag people in the top text field, if you're creating a new post on your wall, sharing via Messenger, or sharing on a page or a friend's timeline.You'll need to enter a friend's name in the "To" text box if you're sharing the post via Messenger.If you're sharing the post on a page you manage, you have to choose the page in the top left corner of the "New Post" window.The friend's name should be entered into the "Friends" text box at the top of the window.
Step 7: You can click on the post.
The button will be in the bottom-right corner of the window if you added text to the shared content.The item is shared.You can click here if you want to send the post via message.
Step 8: Go to Facebook.
The Facebook app icon looks like a white "f" on a dark-blue background.If you are logging in, this will open your News Feed.Before proceeding, you need to enter your email address and password.
Step 9: You should find the post you want to share.

Step 13: You can choose a sharing option.
You won't always have all of these options available, so do one of the following depending on your preferred sharing method.The post will be shared without any additional text if you add text to it.You can open a list of your contacts in the Messenger app.The text box at the top of the Messenger screen is where you can add text to the post.There is a post window in which you can add text before posting.You can either select a different page by tapping the page's name at the top of the screen, or you can choose a friend to follow by selecting their name.Select a destination for the shared post from the pop-up menu.You can copy the link from the shared item to your clipboard.You can paste the link into a text message.
Step 14: You can share the post.
You can post your item if you didn't choose the option.To send the post in a message, you'll need to tap to the right of the contact's name in Messenger.
